Privacy Policy
01 Overview
TunedPrompt ("we," "us," or "our") is a free web application that helps you craft better prompts for AI tools. It is operated by AI Signal, a newsletter by Dan Rice.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We've written it in plain English because you deserve to actually understand it. If you have questions, email us at connectwithlokiforai@gmail.com.
The short version: We collect only what we need to run the app. We don't sell your data. Your task text is never stored — it's processed and discarded. You can request deletion of your account at any time.
02 What We Collect
When you sign in and use TunedPrompt, we collect the following:

We access only your Google account's basic profile (email and display name). We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, Contacts, or any other Google service.
03 What We Don't Collect
To be completely clear, TunedPrompt does not collect:
- Payment or financial information of any kind
- Physical location or GPS data
- Contacts, calendar events, or any Google Workspace data
- Your browsing history or behaviour outside of tunedprompt.com
- Device identifiers beyond standard browser session cookies
- The text of your tasks or prompts — these are processed and immediately discarded
04 How We Use Your Data
The data we store is used solely to operate TunedPrompt:
- Email & display name — to authenticate your account and personalise the interface.
- AI tool preference — to remember which AI platform you're optimising prompts for.
- AI profile — to tailor prompt suggestions to your job role, industry, and working style.
- Task input — sent directly to our AI processing API to generate your optimised prompt, then discarded. It is never written to disk or a database.
We do not use your data for advertising, cross-site tracking, or profiling for any purpose beyond improving your experience within the app.
05 Third-Party Services
TunedPrompt relies on the following third-party service providers to function:
Supabase — Authentication and database hosting. Your account data and AI profile are stored in Supabase's secure cloud infrastructure. Supabase acts as a data processor on our behalf. Supabase Privacy Policy ↗
OpenRouter / DeepSeek V3.2 — AI inference API. When you submit a task, your input text is sent to OpenRouter (which routes it to DeepSeek V3.2) to generate an optimised prompt. This text is transmitted over an encrypted connection and is not stored by TunedPrompt. Please review OpenRouter's and DeepSeek's own privacy policies regarding transient API data handling.
Vercel — Web hosting and serverless functions. Vercel may log standard server-side request metadata (IP address, timestamps, request paths) as part of normal infrastructure operation. Vercel Privacy Policy ↗
Google OAuth — Sign-in only. We use Google's OAuth 2.0 service exclusively for account authentication. The only scopes we request are email and profile. We do not access any other Google services. Google Privacy Policy ↗
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any other third parties.
07 Data Retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will remove your personal data from our Supabase database within 30 days.
Your task input text is never persisted. It exists in memory only for the duration of the API call and is immediately discarded once a response is returned.
Vercel's server logs may retain standard request metadata for up to 30 days as part of their infrastructure operations.
08 Your Rights
Regardless of where you're located, you have the right to:
- Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — Ask us to correct inaccurate profile information.
- Deletion — Request that we delete your account and all associated personal data.
- Portability — Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent — Revoke TunedPrompt's access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account settings ↗.
To exercise any of these rights, email connectwithlokiforai@gmail.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We'll respond within 30 days.
09 Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data. Your account is secured via Google OAuth — we never see or store your password. Data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Data at rest is stored within Supabase's secure, encrypted infrastructure.
No system is perfectly secure. If you discover a security concern, please email us promptly.
10 Policy Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continuing to use TunedPrompt after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
